"The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has recalled about 6,206 TVs of select Toshiba, Technika, and Walker models sold in Ireland between October 2025 and April 2026. The recall is due to a fault in the fuse inside the UK power plug that may not disconnect power during an electrical fault, posing a fire risk. Customers are advised to stop using the TV immediately and contact distributor Glen Dimplex for a free replacement fuse or power cable. No incidents have been reported."
