"The Irish Department of Transport (DoT) released a report on the public consultation for the Renewable Transport Fuel Policy 2025-2027. From 4 December 2024 to 24 January 2025, 53 submissions were received from stakeholders including oil companies, renewable energy firms, state bodies, and individuals. The consultation covered seven themes: policy context, working groups, biofuel sustainability, the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO), additional certificates, a move to B10 diesel, and future research. Responses will inform the draft policy; a second consultation on the draft will follow."
