"Ireland's second statutory National Adaptation Framework (NAF) was published on 5 June 2024 by Minister Eamon Ryan. The framework replaces the 2018 version and sets out the national strategy to reduce vulnerability to climate change impacts such as flooding, drought, and sea level rise. It identifies 13 priority sectors under 7 lead departments, which must submit sectoral adaptation plans by Q3 2025. The NAF emphasizes a whole-of-government and society approach, building on a 2022 review and public consultation."
