"The Irish Department of Transport, led by Minister Darragh O'Brien, has published the Transport Sectoral Adaptation Plan (T-SAP II), a strategic document covering 2025-2030 with 40 key actions to enhance climate resilience across all transport modes—roads, rail, ports, airports, public transport, and active travel. The plan addresses risks from storms, floods, heatwaves, sea-level rise, and other climate events, building on the first adaptation plan from 2019. It was developed under the National Adaptation Framework and incorporates Ireland's first National Climate Change Risk Assessment."
