"This document is the administrative consolidation of the Ethics in Public Office Act 1995, updated to 1 January 2026. It sets out disclosure requirements for public office holders, including Oireachtas members, and establishes committees and a commission to investigate breaches. It covers registrable interests, gifts, designated directorships and positions in public bodies. The Act aims to ensure transparency and prevent corruption. This revision includes changes up to the National Training Fund (Amendment) Act 2025 and statutory instruments up to S.I. No. 1 of 2026."
