"The National Transport Authority (NTA) published a review of Phase 3 of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan, covering 2024. Phase 3 introduced 45 new and enhanced bus services, adding 120,000 weekly vehicle kilometres and connecting 54 towns to the TFI network. Nearly 8 million passenger journeys were recorded across Connecting Ireland services in 2024, a 165% increase from 2019. Phase 4 is underway in 2025."
