"The Irish Department of Transport published the Transport Sectoral Adaptation Plan (T-SAP II) on 14 November 2025, aiming to enhance long-term resilience of the transport system against climate impacts such as floods, storms, and sea-level rise. The plan identifies 49 priority risks from 114 and proposes 40 'smart' actions, including 14 cross-cutting measures. It assesses impacts under IPCC scenarios RCP 4.5 and 8.5 for 2030, 2050, and 2100, and is supported by 13 high-level KPIs. The plan was developed with stakeholder and public consultation."
