"The Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) has launched an inquiry into X Internet Unlimited Company (XIUC) under Section 110 of the Data Protection Act 2018. The probe concerns the creation and publication of non-consensual intimate images using generative AI (Grok) on the X platform, involving personal data of EU/EEA data subjects, including children. The DPC will examine compliance with GDPR Articles 5, 6, 25, and 35."
