"The Irish Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation has issued Circular 22/2026 detailing a 1% pay increase for civil service grades effective 1 June 2026, as per the Public Service Agreement 2024-2026. The circular applies to all civil service grades and includes revised pay scales for general service and common grades, with rounding rules. Overtime, premium pay, and allowances are also increased by 1%. Pension increases for pre-existing schemes follow pay parity until 30 June 2026, while Single Scheme pensions are CPI-indexed. Additional Superannuation Contribution (ASC) rates for 2026 remain unchanged."
