"Ireland's Central Statistics Office (CSO) released the provisional Register of Public Sector Bodies for 2025 on 11 May 2026. The register lists central government departments, extra-budgetary funds, non-commercial agencies, public corporations, local authorities, social security funds, approved housing bodies, and regional assemblies classified as public sector. It is used for compiling government finance statistics and classifying entities under the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010)."
