"The Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) has fined Permanent TSB (PTSB) €277,500 following an inquiry into three personal data breaches that occurred in 2022. Malicious actors posing as customers accessed accounts through the Open24 Contact Centre due to inadequate security measures. The DPC found violations of GDPR articles on security and breach notification."
