The national minimum wage rises to €14.15 per hour, VAT for hospitality is cut from 13.5% to 9% from July 2026, and welfare rates increase by €10 per week. No once-off payments are included. The rent tax credit is extended for three years, the mortgage interest credit for two years. A new derelict property tax will be administered by Revenue. The underlying deficit, excluding windfall corporate taxes, is projected at €13.6 billion for 2026."
