"The Israeli Settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (Prohibition of Importation of Goods) Bill 2026, introduced in the Irish Oireachtas, aims to prohibit the import of goods originating from Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory. The bill amends the Customs Act 2015 to make such imports an offence, with exemptions for personal luggage and goods from partially occupied areas subject to Revenue verification. The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade is empowered to proscribe relevant postal codes, updated periodically via EU-Israel technical arrangements."
