"The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has published a launch paper for its 'State of Competition in Ireland' project, assessing competition in the non-financial services sector over the past decade. The study uses CSO microdata to examine market concentration, markups, entry and exit rates, and productivity. It aims to benchmark competition and inform policy, following global trends of rising concentration and declining business dynamism. Seven stakeholder responses were received, including from ComReg and Enterprise Ireland."
